On this page, you can fill out your online ESTA application form. Use this page to complete a new ESTA application if you have not yet completed one, or your previous authorization has expired.
Simply enter your details into the fields below, exactly as they appear on your passport, in order to begin the process of gaining your electronic travel authorization. Continue to the bottom of the page, and once complete, click ‘continue’.
You will be asked to answer some further questions regarding the nature of your trip. Once you have completed these additional fields, you can submit your ESTA application for approval.
All information submitted via the ESTA online application will be examined manually before authorization is granted. If any problems with your application occur, you will be notified via e-mail.
Please double check all fields before submitting your ESTA travel application in order to ensure that everything has been entered correctly.
- All nationals of countries within the Visa Waiver Program who plan to travel to the U.S. for less than 90 days must submit an ESTA application.
- All answers should be provided in English.
- Fields marked with star are mandatory.
Once your ESTA application form has been submitted, it should take no longer than 3 to 5 days to process. The time taken to grant ESTA approval depends on the number of applications being submitted and the specifics of the information you have provided.
If you are a citizen of one of the Visa Waiver Program countries and all of your information complies with the latest regulations, your ESTA application form should take no longer than 2 days to be approved.
If your application is accepted and you are granted travel authorization to the U.S., your ESTA will be valid for two years or until your passport expires. Within that two year period you can travel to the U.S. multiple times provided the length of each trip does not exceed 90 days.
However, it is important to keep in mind that border control holds the right to deny entry into the country if they suspect that you are using your ESTA for reasons that don’t comply.
Note, the ESTA is not a visa but an electronic authorization that permits nationals of countries within the Visa Waiver Program to travel to the U.S. without a visa.
The ESTA travel application can also be completed by parents or legal guardians of children under 18 years of age.
